Amber in Ancient Greek means “beaming sun”, because of its color and because of its warmth when you rub it against your skin. Amber is fossilized tree resin.
The first information about the healing properties of Amber was by Hippocrates (460-377 BC), the first doctor of the Ancient world. He prescribed it for ailments of throat, neck, head, eye, ear, lungs and allergies.
Amber has the ability to produce negative ions that affect the body by easing pain, and activating the healing process.
It has a soothing effect on the wearer and it helps with skin diseases. Being a natural purifier, it helps compensate for energy drain in the body and brain, boosts concentration and reflexes and reduces stress. It releases negative ions and clears diseases.
Using the knowledge we were bestowed upon from our Greek landscape and heritage, we have created the Healing Touch Collar. We believe that a collar, constantly interacting with your pet, has never been utilized to its full capability. Our unique collar allows for a synergy of energy and love to constantly be surrounding your beloved pet, offering the ultimate source of calm and care.
All our crystals and gems are handpicked, and have undergone Usui reiki treatment, which improves the healing qualities and properties of the stones. All our crystals are immersed in the Aegean Sea and then set on myrtle (1) leaves left to be dried by the first rays of the sun.
While they are drying we hum ancient hymns and paeans of a heroic dog Kyon; a dog who followed the boat of his master, Xanthipos, from Piraeus to Salamis, swimming following his master’s boat, during the Battle of Salamis 480 BC. (2)
We complete our ritual by carrying our crystals to the grounds of ancient temples and place them directly under the full moon. The beauty and the yielding qualities of the crystals are then ready to be drawn-out through our dog collars. This harmonious ritual, delivers the ability to transmute more balance and health to our pets from the cosmos.
After harnessing the elements and energy from the universe, we take the crystals to our workshop. The final product is set on Plato’s pentagrams, (a symbol of the heavens), so they continue seeping the timeless values of our universe.
(1) Myrtle leaves are believed to be the flower of the gods, being sacred to the Greek goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of love
